Ports Petroleum is currently seeking a Sales Manager. The available position is full time in Akron, OH.
The Sales Manager’s responsibilities include training, hiring, and motivating sales executives, managing the sales team toward a goal of profitable revenue growth, and coordinating the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities.
Duties of the Sales Manager
Managing large company accounts and building relationships with key personnel.
Networking within national accounts in order to secure business opportunities.
Ensuring internal company functions give the highest level of customer service to national accounts.
Monitoring incoming orders and ensuring these are fulfilled effectively.
Holding regular sales meetings.
Investigating and resolving queries and issues raised by accounts.
Taking a proactive approach to account management.
Arranging meetings with customers’ relevant decision makers.
Holding business reviews to assess opportunities for sales.
Experience in planning and implementing sales strategies.
Experience in customer relationship management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
