Ports Petroleum has been supplying its customers with diesel exhaust fluid since the product was introduced to the North American market in 2010. Our experience and relationships in the industry have provided us an opportunity to start manufacturing our own branded DEF under the ArmorBlue name.

ArmorBlue is a 32.5% urea solution. It is manufactured to ISO 22241 specifications and is API certified. ArmorBlue is compatible with Tier 4 final compliant equipment using Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology.

Diesel Exhaust Fluid is a very sensitive fluid and can easily be contaminated by hydrocarbons and dilution. Whether you purchase your DEF from Ports Petroleum or another supplier, you can send us a sample of your DEF and we will test it for FREE!

What is DEF?

Diesel exhaust fluid is a non-toxic, clear, and colorless solution made of 67.5% de-ionized water 32.5% urea. DEF is used in by Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology to remove harmful NOx emissions from diesel engines.
